Short Bio
Kyriaκos Athanasiou is an Emeritus Professor of the University of Athens and ex-President of IKY. He has worked as Research Fellow in the area of Enviromental Genetics at the National Hellenic Research Foundation of Athens and as Assistant Professor at the Medical School of Ioannina, Greece. Since the year 1991 until 2010, he has been serving as Associate and Full Professor at the School of Education, the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and later on, the National and Kapodestrian University of Athens, Greece, teaching Biological and Health Education.
